You might want to read Jan issue of Windows magazine page 250. It states you can't get a virus from reading e-mail but if a file is attached and you down load it then you can. Hope that little clue may lead you to remember who sent you the file. It also states the most common are Micrsofts Macro viruses and gives suggestions if you use that program. If you use Word I suggest you read it. I helped a friend the other day get rid of bloodhound.mbr . The next day when he booted up he had a few hundred viruses. We decided to take the virus software off and re-install it , which was gutsy because sometimes the virus software won't install on a machine that has a virus. Well after the new install the same software found no viruses and he's running fine. I hope you are using some virus software .

I looked in Nortons Anti Virus data base and the virus you had wasn't even listed ? If you want to see something crazy check this link out to an article that was in todays Chicago paper. These hackers claim they got into Yahoo's site and everybody that has used Yahoo in the last month or so is doomed to crash in 1998 on Christmas unless their demands are met. I don't think I'll use Yahoo till there is more news on it. I'll even wait till I see what others say about it rather than go to their site to see what they say about it.
