If you've been a paralegal you know you can't just send subpoenas. You need to file a complaint first and then issue subpoenas to try and determine exactly who it is you are suing. SI has always had a very competent legal department that obeys the law, and if memory serves correctly, has a stated policy on how they handle subpoenas when they receive them. Again from memory but I think they notify the member and then the member has a a predetermined amount of times, wither 2 weeks or 30 days I think, to try and quash the subpoena or the info will be released. That is the similar to the policies of AOL, yahoo and most other service providers, message board owners etc. Most get quashed because like you, the plaintiffs have no likelihood of prevailing in their case that generally amount to nothing more than fishing expedition for personal information in order to harass them outside of SI. a legal precedent was set in the case of TMRT vs. John does 1 to 100, when the judge wisely quashed the subpoenas seeking SI members real identities. Any case you bring will likely meet the same fate. Ask your attorney, if he doesn't know, refer him to the above mentioned case but trust me, if he doesn't know, you would be better finding an attorney that does. That way he can tell you it will be a waste of time and money. Do yourself a favor and give up this ridiculousness. This is the last public reply you will get from me. If you keep up this BS, i will put you back on ignore and you won't be able to PM me. Now either get off this horse and talk to me in private or that line of communication will be shut off as well. I promise the next time you bring up this subject or mention my name in one of your posts, you will be cut off completely.
