"at some point lightning will hit him, how useless an irrelevant an old fool he is." His Reaction Formation is strong. He is fear-ridden, yet projects a brazen puffery where he exalts superstitious nonsense and demeans the very Science that made his world...and that made his world LIVABLE--The Science that educates the next generation and all to come. What is his basic fear, if we take his behaviour and run it back? It is obvious. HE FEARS REALITY. PERIOD. "Btw, what mental hospital do you think gregoree landed in" I never think about that fellow. Let us hope he has found a healthy space...
