Thugs are thugs- they've always been around. What is odd about this "craze" is that old, racist white guys fixate on it because the perpetrators are black. Remember the "wilding" attacks? Also a dramatic tableaux of black violence. It's probably more common to be anally probed by ET than to be the victim of a knockout attack- so the point, really, is the fixation on creating negative stereotypes of black crazed criminals. The stuff was eaten up by Southerners in the old racist South, who thought black boys just couldn't wait to rape their white women- now we've got this sort of racist meme sharing. So no, the racism does not depend on who has been a victim. It depends on whether you're a racist or not. We don't have to make crime a fab group bonding activity. That is as sick as the circle jerks the racists had rejoicing in the death of Travyon- and you know those guys would piss their pants if a black guy was following them the way Travyon was being followed.
