The tech bear summary for this AM. IDC lowers PC growth forcast for Japan. Soundveiw lowers world PC growth forcast to 13.5% for 98 and lowers estimate on INTC. Korean Won drops 10% limit and there is no bid. Long list of earnings prewarnings. DLJ lowers Bay. Oracle makes you go hmmmm. Tim

Hey Tom, nobody's perfect eh ... all joking aside it's a perfect commentary on what happens in a bull market ... people like Niles don't get paid for making HOLD or, god forbid, SELL reccs ... after a while I think they have a hard time seeing reality even when it comes up and whacks them with a 2x4. regards, Mike
