Olympus Mills USA Announces Agreement to purchase Worldtex in Haiti Hialeah, Florida- June 27,1996 Olympus Ventures, Inc OTCBB-OLPV), announced today, through it's wholly owned subsidiary, Olympus Mills USA has entered into an agreement to purchase Worldtex Inc, a Manufacturing and Assembly Factory in Port Au Prince, Haiti. Located in " Industrial Park Shodecosa", the most desirable location in Port Au-Prince, Worldtex occupies 120,000 square feet with over 1,000 sewing machines, 800 -feet of cutting tables and a complete laundry and garment dye facility. The factory specializes in denim and knits with the capacity for 12,000 unit/week of denim and stone wash, and 12,000 dozen- t-shirt/ week, generating revenue of over $4,800,000 in denim and $10,800,000 in tee's. Continuing its plan to make its own line of clothing, Olympus plans to manufacture its own label of denim and tee's in Haiti. A second facility of 72,000 square feet, is Under lease, that will house new computerized machines for T-shirts embroidering and screenprinting. The entire project is expected to be completed for ten million dollars $10,000,000) in cash and stock. Haiti was once a leader on off-shore manufacturing and assembly, which will allow Olympus to choose from an abundance of experienced help at very reasonable rate of salary, keeping labor costs down and quality up. Company announced that it has set a target of $70 million (USD) for gross sales in 1997. Olympus is anticipating gross sales of $20 million for (USD) 1996. Olympus Ventures is a Hialeah, Florida based manufacturer which owns and operates knitting mills, cutting, sewing and finishing factories.
