On Tuesday, #1 seed Newtown battled back from 35-13 vs #8 seed Ridgefield, scoring a TD with 16 seconds left to cut it to 35-33. Flash back to 2001 when the Yankees got two walk-off HRs in the WS vs. Arizona and, no question, they had to have been a team of destiny. As you might have guessed with that reference, Newtown missed the conversion and did not recover the on-sides kick and were eliminated. There's a moral there somewhere, but heck if I can figure it out.
