There's alot about the Renaissance you wish not to discuss apparently or your pagan beliefs in the afterlife & day of judgement. Btw, George Washington was so religious he asked for no priests or faith healers to attend him on his death bed. Cherry trees to cherry pickers indeed, he was not one of those. As for "Providence" back in those times, the English had fought a protracted war with France which caused them in turn to tax the Colonies which resulted in that rising up and new war here. The French in turn to get revenge on the English broke themselves lending the Colonies huge military & naval sums, sending themselves into bankruptcy which resulted in the French Revolution soon after. Providence has nothing to do with it, except a very confused supreme being & idiots like yourself that dont know much about history.
