Of course i google, everyone does. So what did i find about Petrarch for instance, Father of Humanism & one of the inspirations for the Renaissance? That he had come upon the same idea i have been furthering here for as long as i've been posting here, that the human experience is a continuum, there was no break or separation from the "pagan" world. How wonderful is that, plus it ties right in with the topic at hand, which is the idea of evolution, which is also in cultural terms as well as biological. Take your dumb right wing bible belt propaganda somehwhere else, Christianity wasn't so special that led to all these great discoveries, that happens only *after the classics are brought back into view and studied again.* dum dum...try as you idiots might hide the truth, the truth always wins out & that truth is greater than you.
