i suppose we shouild all be thankful to JMAR management for the current ongoing debacle in its share price since it's a buying opportunity ?

haha - a naive view in my opinion - this is damage that's going to take a long time to heal

JMAR management cannot apparently be trusted to do what is good for its shareholders - the handling of this private placement is a disaster - the overseas shorts appear to be killing the shareholders to their own benefit - thanks JMAR

I agree with you about investing in stocks that have not been "discovered" and I think that JMAR is one, but in the short term I can't see a lot it has going for it right now. The PPL division has the most going for it but it may be having a slow quarter or two. Most of the other things; Lightknife, XRL, the announcement that there are new brightlight products in development etc, seem to be a year or so away. The selling of the private placement is a vote of confidence for the long term but as we see there has been a lot of short selling suspected in connection wth this. Certainly it could be some time before the money raised through this placement is translated into profitable revenue. So it looks like the stock is in for short term weakness. Don't forget the purchasers of the private placement may have gotten inside information we don't have. Perhaps this is why the offereing was not filled to the full ammount because management saw the stock price could not support any larger amount of short selling right now. Also if you figure the general market conditions into the equation with still a lot unresolved about the asia crises it dosn't make for a favorable investment climate anyway. I am still holding my shares but the cash I have is waiting for an opportunity.
