moth’s wings feature two flies picking at a pile of bird dropping.

Like most all of your moronic posts here on SI, piles of "bird droppings" describe them all pretty well (or armadillo scat) Your people are just that dense & truely this stupid? What a magnificant achievment of shear laziness & mental sloth, someone should pass out the mouthwash & miles of mental floss.

This only shows the direst poverty of imagination these creationist sites have, one only surmises what limited brain power these fellows of yours have. Patterned coloration is observed all thru Nature for attraction in mating, protection/camoflage in desert, mountain, forest thicket or coral seafloor, and are developed over eons of time by trial & error. Thats just how myriad life responds over millions of years to myriad of changing environments, from predator to prey, flower to insect , bird, bat, butterfly & bee.

No little Lucy, it just didnt happen overnight...
