CPQ (the stock) is not going to turn around till the full impact of the sub 1k computers is understood. I myself believe all the worry is misplaced, but that's just little old me. The positive that are around the bend are NT 5.0, WIN 98, DVD and an increase in access speed to the internet (you will here more and more phone companies offering xDSL, not alone the cable modems will be in the news more) all of the above will happen in 98.

Ok guys. Lets see how DELL behaves at 85 and 80. BTW, CPQ was downgraded to a 'buy' by DLJ.
Looking to buy CPQ at 55 1/4 and DELL at 80 5/8.
