Carl Barks really was an admirable and impressive man and he really did provide huge knowledge and ideas about life in general, via Donald Duck, Uncle Scrooge and the various characters. I had always thought it was Walt Disney who made Donald Duck et al, and it was only when he died that I learned that it was in fact Carl Barks. Walt Disney was simply the operations and marketing department of Carl's creativity. I was sad on reading about Carl's death given the time and interest I had allocated to his efforts and the value they were to me. There are so many people who have done so much for us all yet we blithely go through life using the fruits of their efforts, unaware they existed. How many people for example have a clue how mobile Cyberspace was invented by Irwin Jacobs, Andrew Viterbi and the gang? Mostly they think Steve Jobs did it. Do you sometimes wonder how such a senseless and wrong person [as me] can be so successful in life when they obviously [in your opinion] have no idea about anything? Ignorance is bliss. <so lets put you on ignore as the best solution > But we do have to ignore nearly everything due to our limited brains being only 1 kg of wet chemistry so we are in trouble from the start, though Google helps these days, like a giant plug-in adjunct search and memory department. Au revoir. Don't miss my next right on the money gold price prediction though, nor my 2020 foresight about astrophysics [sun-spot numbers] and Global Warming. 4 years in a row for the price of gold, right on the money. Plus last June as a bonus. Mqurice
