Insiders at high-technology companies frequently sell shares in their own companies, often a lot of shares. But with yesterday's sharp drop in tech stocks, some of the recent sales look a little more interesting.

During the past several weeks, executives and directors at Oracle Corp., Sybase Inc., BMC Software Inc. and 3Com Corp. all have sold shares or notified the Securities and Exchange Commission that they plan to do so shortly.
