Don't be afraid.

If you are...it will look like you are afraid...and/or lazy.

It means it takes a karika person to renounce all for God. That can't be accomplished by ordinary men because they're compromised by the need for food.

Keep in mind that Mark may have not have written his book, but rather the book itself is an assemblage of writings of various unspoken apostles finally attributed to Paul.

How do you interpret Mark 10:25?

I think it means what it says. I believe the bible is a collection of parables which attempt to instruct men in ways to lead their lives. There are plenty of contradictions but the basic purpose is noble. Give people a manual which will help them live together in peace. The nuns would have attempted to kill me if they knew I believed that even when I was 10 years old.
