Have you ever done it?

Has anybody on this thread ever shorted a stock under $2.50 per share? Under 20¢ a share? Even if someone has, you have to put up $2.50 per share cash to make at most 20 cents.

OTOH I'm sure somebody on this thread has bought a stock for less than 20¢ a share.

(If we allow penny stock shorting) Someone could put half his money in a short position at 20¢ a share and close it when it drops to 1¢ and he has a good chance to win the round with $147.47 (after paying commission of 13¢), sitting with that in cash for the rest of the round.
