I've never gotten blood from anyone. Have donated, though, starting from when I was a teenager. At that time, when someone was in a hospital and had an operation scheduled, they'd ask people they knew to donate blood. Which is why I donated blood at an early age. I recall I wasn't able to drive at the time cause I remember my mom taking me to the hospital to donate blood for someone. You'd think if you or a member of your family ever need blood, you could donate for one another. Be easier than storing your own blood, wouldn't it?

BTW it's not just gay men who aren't supposed to donate blood. People who have sex for money or pay money to get sex, like bentway brags about, aren't supposed to donate either. Ditto intravenous blood users, people who've lived in England during some period when they had the mad cow disease, and some other categories. Good public health reasons for all those bans. Of course, they rely on a questionnaire which people can lie on, Thus some to donate blood to yourself

I'm sure you think it's just a matter of bigotry and hate that needle users and hookers and bentway's aren't supposed to donate.
