do Vit. C and no fructose, I got mind under control that way. .....not a chance ..........it genetic for me.........grandfather and uncle had it..........I had sky high uric acid levels when I was in my late 20s and in great shape. .....am on allopurinol daily to lower uric acid levels and have three drugs of choice should I get an attack..........have not had a serious attack (off my feet) in 10 months .......only minor episodes which get arrested quickly by the medications.
