It is true and backed up by statistics. It is not hyperbole or wild eyed non factual ranting. It is just that few people think or talk about such things, like so many other important things e.g. the fate of the earth and mankind. I never could figure out why people spend more time on the British royal family and people magazine than trying to understand their own reality and existence? I had a phone call from my richest old friend today. He and I were really tight when young and in college and he really looked out for me. He was rich and a football star and I was poor and not a football star. Sometimes he would take me to parties where the super rich attend. I was always uncomfortable. That culture seemed devoid of a soul. I couldn't wait to leave. Movie stars and famous people everywhere and all I wanted to do was get back to my normal life.

I told my daughter it was the law she had to call my on my birthday. She also read all the Hominid books. Her response. "Only in China. I'll give you a call on Saturday. I've been meaning to call all week but it keeps getting too late before I have a chance. Haha and I finished the hominid series this weekend, at the expense of a lot of other activities!

Over the last 20 years I have watch hundreds of "housewives" become real estate agents, title officers and mortgage loan officers. The vast majority have no college. They have mastered those jobs so well, they have driven the men out.

My office dominates the market and sells about 60% of the property. And the women dominate my office. I watched the women in my office became a tour de force. They are so competent and master the most complicated stuff you can imagine. Yesterday I was looking at our staff meeting with 9 women and 2 guys. All of the women make around 150 K a year. Effortlessly.

Today we were learning how to transfer files to skyscape. They barely needed to listen they had it down already. Every one of these women could have obtained PHD, but more interesting is they have only recently discovered their talent themselves. The were timid and unsure of themselves in the beginning. You should see them now. Any of them could kick our asses-lol.

I was talking to all of them today (as the old fatherly guy) and telling them how happy and proud I was to watch them mature to the degree they had. They were grateful and agreed with how much their lives have changed since "succeeding at such a complicated job and to such a degree.

From $10 an hour to $100 an hour.

One woman who really started from behind (but was determined and now pretty much runs the office) and was in a totally subservient (and somewhat abusive)relationship told me how she now rules the roost and her husband often makes dinner. Something he never did before. She makes three times what he does now. that gives her power to tell him to behave.

All of these women now make more than their husbands and that gives them power to self actualize.

And selling real estate is one tough and complicated job. And as stressful as being a cop. And working as a titile officer or mortgage loan officer is as tough or tougher.

Go women. Go everyone.
