On DNV, January always brings renewed hope even while the junior sector has been horrible since 2011. In Jan 2011, DNV goes from $.24 to $.96 in a few months, in Jan 2012, DNV goes from $.30 to $.48 in a few months and in Jan 2013 DNV goes from $.12 to $.40 in a few months.

There are many other examples of catching tax loss selling in December and selling in February for nice gains. Not just DNV. Buy the dogs and sell them a few months later.
