Agreed.... I found some good stuff a few years ago too... really the only assets I have right now of any consequence except some penny metal stocks just in case :-) A good part of my RE is 1st notes on commercial in good area @ about 50% LTV (lower now that the market has rallied)... BUT I'm going to start getting that money back soon.

Agreed longer term scenario is a possibility.... I doubt however that the fed will EVER be able to reverse it's balance sheet without MUCH higher rates... probably higher than it thinks makes sense given that scenario, let along a sharp downturn. To me the question is: Will the fed ever cry no mas, and try and reverse it's balance sheet despite large upside moves in rates??? How large can it get???
