You'll love this.... ted.com I do love it. Thanks. Love the concept of bus ridership = democracy. The Colombians are such an interesting people. For years I thought of them as coke smugglers and drug terrorists. The reality is quite, quite different. They are doing some interesting things with their cities. They have public officials like this mayor who are very progressive and democratic. And even their major pop singer...........Shakira..............is very well read, articulate and progressive.
