I've always considered pantheism a silly idea.

No more or less silly than believing in David, Moses and Mohamed or Cinderella and Santa Claus.

They are all equally silly and for children yet all have some degree of literary and entertainment value.

And i have always thought religions are pretensious & silly, when what most any group of women from any tribe, from any era could affirm most all the essentials of anyone of them in a day. Pretense is what men have to do, remember they're sinners after all and from the dawn of time have relied on ritual public display. Its good to have scapegoats to sacrifice & a scapegoat to sacrafice too. Pantheism is not separate from Christianity, you just haven't the finesse to see as a 'child of god', the major maixms, metaphors & allusions are all still world based systems; kingdoms , family & people, your daily bread, custodianship of the land. This is Pantheism 101.

If there's a "world beyond", well there you go, that world would have its ecosytem & hierarchies too, but your "spirit world" is just a reflection as when you see your own image in a lake. Its quite the miraculous thing to to have eyes, ears, nose, mouth, brow, back & shoulder to heft. Its a real great thing thats truely unique, the human primate hand, opposing thumbs & forefinger.Black & Decker surely think so...
