Wow, that's a scathing article.

Is Robbie Cano their idea of an "undervalued free agent"?

Cano apparently didn't like playing for Joe Girardi, who wouldn't always bat him where he wanted to hit in the lineup. Cano and the M's sound like a match made in heaven.

I heard there is no state taxes and therefore the Mariner's deal meant 90 million more dollars for him by signing with them over the Yankees.

I am wondering why they would want to pay him $24million a year for 10 years? That is an Arod type of deal. Rarely get their money's worth out of a player. Look at Puljos…

Cano is not a very personable guy. Certainly never see him hustle out a grounder.
However, he is the best 2nd basemen in the game. Solid hitter and very good fielder. I just have a hard time wrapping my mind around those numbers...
