Hi dlucas, You are right all children are innocent to God. The age of accountability is up to God and no one else. Scriptures about the sin in the wilderness imply that God uses the age of 20 years old.( Numbers 14;29 In this desert your bodies will fall-every one of you twenty years old or more who was counted in the census and who has grumbled against me.) It appears that the census also may have used 20 as the adult age? I don't know. The age of 13 is the start of accountability but responsibility with God no one knows for sure. Sometimes not speaking for God is worse than cursing someone. Gal.6:1-2 Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him GENTLY. But watch yourself or you may also be tempted. Carry each others burdens and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Gently is a key word here but not saying anything when you feel there is bad doctrine is not love.To be gentle to me is to be reasonable and willing to listen. Nancy
