One could see a universal reality, if stripped away all veneers of human longing, fears, divisions & current states of confusion, isn't all that complex or different from any other time . We see in all sweeps of history the same strifes (sins), the same cycles of imbalances , busts & booms, repeated constantly, its always about food shelter clothing & territory, then who gets the power to divy up the three. Life for all its complexity, the outcome is we are more or less pretty straight forward & as simple creatures in our needs as any other higher species.

In Islam one sees Mohammed the man reacting to the early loss of his mother, the love of his wife, in Jesus you see this same parental fixation, most religions all regard their Gods as mothers or fathers, lets be real about it, its not that complex. So in this way Pantheism makes total sense, you have to love the ship your sailing on, most sailors have great affection for their ships, they often name them after women.

There is a Pantheism growing, in the end I think its the only religion a simple creature like ourselves needs, its written in the highest poetic passages in the Bible, that love of the earth, the promise land , that custodianship ,etc .
