FINALLY - Energold Concessions granted

The Dominican government has granted mineral title on four concessions on which Energold Mining Ltd. has an optional right to earn a 60% interest.

The four concessions are located in the central and eastern region of the Los Ranchos formation, which hosts the 20 million ounce Pueblo Viejo gold deposit.

The four concessions are:

La Comedreja, 5292 hectares, owned by Inversiones Mineras SA which is controlled by Double Creek Mining Corp (DCM:VSE)

Baritina, 4300 hectares, owned by Minera Monte Plata SA which is controlled by Treminco Resources Ltd. (TMO:TSE)

Rey Croesus, 5825 hectares, Helen, 2500 hectares , both owned by Proyectos Mineras SA which is controlled by IMPACT Minerals (IPT:VSE)

These are the first new concessions granted by the new Dominican government led by Leonel Fernandez. The exploration concessions are granted for three years, and can be renewed for a two year extension.

If these concessions had been granted when we originally thought they were, in the spring of 1997, the stock would have gone to $5. Today, the stock went to 34 cents. Spilt milk.
