I looked it up. Yes, Briles was RGIII's coach at Baylor. In defense of Griffen (not management), they say it takes four years for a QB to mature to the level necessary to be effective in the NFL. And in defense of Briles, the guy obviously knew what buttons (or not) to press with Griffen. If there's one guy Snyder should listen to in being told how to treat RGIII, it should be Briles. Note how I used the word "should" not "would". In other words, if there's nobody Snyder will listen to, including Briles, you are screwed no matter who you bring in as coach.
