<<P.S. I think UTEK/SVGI would be a great combination>>
I have a shotgun. <ggg>
I've just done a little tax loss selling, but maintaining most of my positions. I can't see giving away this stock but tax minimization is a real concern to me just now.

David: Unfortunately, I did not speak with Art and I am sorry if I left that impression in my haste to make the post in a timely fashion. My research was based upon conversations with other sources at UTEK. I did not secure permission to place their names on SI.

Everyone, be advised that I do not believe the company has any official company projections out there to my knowledge on the number of P-Gild and Ultrabeam units it expects to produce. Maybe things have changed since the last cc, but at that point Art Z declined to number the P-Gild and Ultrabeam units that they expect to sell in 1998. I still think that is the company's official position. Remember, six to eight each is an internal goal.

With respect to the facility, you are right in that the facility will more than likely be built to go on line in early 1999 IMHO. They have the plans and the building permit but until you see them out in the backyard with that golden shovel to break ground, it is not a certainty. They reserve the right to change their mind depending upon "market conditions" and that should come to no great suprise as this is mere business prudence. If your potential customers for these products get the shakes for whatever reason (unlikley IMHO but certainly possible), you don't go ahead and spend the money to have a facility sit idle IMO. You want to time it just right and have the facility coincide with the demand IMO. With that said, "market conditions" appear very favorable for these products at this point today.
