I do want it to gain 1/2-1 more pt today at least so I can cash in my day trade...I have my fingures crossed..I'm in the money but holding a bit longer..A little nervous but thats the nature of the beast,I guess.Go Dell..Just 1 little cheer

I appreciate your input...I am currently short @ 50 5/16 and could cover right now. However I get the feeling there is still too much complacency right now. BTW why not sell your stock when it started coming off the highs at 53 7/8. Protect your capital at all costs. A trade is not profitable until you flatten the position. Anyway I fell I just created a liquid entry point for someone to get long at my sell price. Lastly I trade stocks like most people change channels on TV, very quickly...my abhorrence of losers is very strong. Can't let ego get in the way. Which hurts when you get out of a winning trade prematurely. E.g. was short SLOT the day before it broke for 2 point profit on only 500 shares as that was what I could get off. Stock started rebounding so I covered...I think the price was 78 sale, 76 cover...now at 52 7/8...oh well. One never goes out of business taking profits and limiting losses.

The west coast boutique sales staff are making calls (I presume)...VRTS is a fine company...to me its just a vehicle for trading profits...my risk is that someone takes the company over today as I typically flatten most high flier day trading positions.

Gotta go get some food.

Bon Chance.
JIM

P.S. hope above was helpful positioning my trading orientation.
