The ads on the last link in the previous message...shows Cymer and Nikon on the top!

Classic! (I looked again and it's gone, that was quick). It showed Cymer as the purest light source and Nikon Precision as the company with the most DUV experience.

another cut-and-paste from the Dec 97 article..

"If the shift to 193-nm deep UV occurs as fast as the move to 248-nm
systems," Wittekoek said, "there could be a temporary supply problem." But officials at Nikon, Canon, and SVG Lithography all said they expect to have no problem getting an adequate supply of the raw material.
