A couple of quotes from today's TheStreet.com:

Reports from the floor of the Pacific Exchange, where
options trade on several high-tech stocks such as Compaq
(CPQ:NYSE) and Microsoft (MSFT:Nasdaq), seemed to
indicate that a raucous "slaughter" in Compaq was
underway, but trading volume wasn't especially heavy.

Mutual fund investors just looking at the Dow in this
morning's paper might not have even bothered to glance at
their funds' returns. What's a mere 60-point dip? Well, take
a peek behind the curtain. Tuesday was grim for mutual
funds across the board.
