I don't know why any Republican would want to accommodate the liberals under any circumstance... To avoid changing the focus of the public's current ire with obama and obamacare. The country is already trillions in debt - the only way out is to win the senate and presidency. So letting the democrats rack up a little more debt between now and Nov is far better than not winning in Nov. Of course the tea party candidates can vote no - to preserve their images going into the elections - now that it only takes 51 votes to pass. It's another hold your nose and hang on.
