Dan: did you consider current quarter cash flow into CREAF's coffin?
My 2 cents guess is that CREAF will have about $70 millions.

it seems logical for creaf to get into internet streaming audio(i.e. real audio). even if the product was given away it would spread the name of creaf everwhere. imagine creaf audio streaming! it would complete total audio experience on the pc.

I was surprised to hear that CREAF bought Ensoniq since they already own (I believe) E-mu. Although with Ensoniq's Audio-PCI card (http://www.audiopci.ensoniq.com/), it seems to make sense.

Actually the only really low margin stuff that Ensoniq sells is their line of sound cards, and they've only been in that market for about three years. The musical instruments that they sell are not the little $200 oom-chugga-oom rhythm keyboards with built in speakers that you see at the local discount stores. They're more the $2500 professional musician variety that are probably fairly low volume, but better profit margins. I own two Ensoniq keyboards that I've been very happy with. Ensoniq is also known for their high-end digital effects units, which are also *very* nice.

Ensoniq has also just come out with a digital recording studio that sells for around $3000. It should be interesting to see how Creative positions the Ensoniq product line with their own.
