But materialism does say that particles in motion is all there is. That that's all we are. Particles in motion following blind laws of nature.

Evil is a word humans use to describe what hurts us and what we fear. It is completely subjective. The very thing that makes a hungry human feel good (bringing down edible prey) would be described as hurtful and evil by the beast, were it to talk. Likewise, a victorious army sees victory as good, while the losers see it as evil. Good and evil. Just words to describe a point of view.

However, let us be clear: Human nature being everywhere quite similar, there exists a commonality of opinion as regards what is helpful and what is hurtful for our species (or for those less mature or evolved...what is helpful or hurtful for the tribe). In the mythologies of the bible, the victors invented and boastfully recounted tale after tale of genocide where they (of course!) lost not a single soldier nor civilian! And for them it was GOOD that they butchered innocent boys and girls and all the unborn fetuses as well. Tribal thinking. But if they hurt someone in their own tribe they called it evil. Unless it was merely rape or something understandable and forgivable in their primitive, prejudiced, and thoroughly un-evolved minds.

It is so boring to see Brum pasting the non-arguments mumbled by his ilk. Non-arguments that have been shredded over and over on this thread--and most everywhere else! Chuckle!
