The telco threatens to steal a share of cable's new cable modem revenue stream as it also plans mid- '98 ADSL launches in Royal Oak, MI and Chicago. - NextLevel [NLV] signed an agreement with Cisco [CSCO] to develop two-way cable modem network products. - U.S. Cable signed a contract with Internet Cable Corp using Zenith [ZE] @HOMEWorks Universal 4 MEG cable modems.

Who the heck is nCUBE?
news this morning under Oracle stated that Oracle would be joining with "nCUBE" of Foster City, Calif. regarding video on demand at the Western Cable Show in Anaheim. somebody at the real CUBE ought to investigate this infringement of the valuable CUBE name by this provately held company.
By the way, we're buying a Dell Dimension with the CUBE DVD--expected delivery is well into January popularity of the DVD-ROM. 300mhz; l28 ram , 17" monitor $2990. Ron.
