Hi 2MAR$; Re Texas defense claiming teen was too affluent, LOL. This is an argument made by the defense. To make this a statement about "Texas justice" you need to look at stuff that the Judge says. Defense can say whatever the heck they like. So far, I've managed to evade arrest for drunk driving and have had no serious accidents. But I wonder what the usual penalty is for, I presume, manslaughter with car. I'm not totally sure that if it's a first offense, probation is unusually light. -- Carl
