Here's why i don't agree

The Reagan / Bush economy set the stage for the boom years in the 90's. We probably could have paid off the debt in those years (minus future SS & Medicare obligations) but we didn't.

Big Govt. - that's not a net asset - it's a net liability. One could conclude it's an asset (more people working to better the US) until they realize each person wants to have his/hername on a policy that becomes new red tape. I'm not opposed to regulations but there's a point where they begin to hurt the business climate. We're there now

Personal viewpoint - In 1992 my opinion is that Bush Sr. had earned a 2nd term. Forget his inability to campaign - he represented the US well. I present to you that had that happened AND Clinton became Pres from 1996 - 2004 our debt would be lower and we'd have had a better situation today regardless of who became president in 2005. Whether you agree WRT the Reagan economy or not is irrelevant. We had a great economy in the 90's and we could have paid the debt down. Today, I don't see an economy that will produce 1990's numbers any time soon nor do I see us reducing the debt. It's not good.

Your keep calling Obama an "R" but I bet you supported him as a "D" in 2008. Don't dump him on the "R's" because he's not been a good president - own him! He's a Chicago democrat - people got what they elected. If they want to finish the job they can vote for a Detroit Democrat next time <---- if he/she sucks will that make him an "R" too?

"Rat"ski - own Obama! Just say "OK - I made a mistake - he's sucked" and I'm good with that lol
