Those are some interesting images. Photoshop art. It's a whole new medium. It may look like photography but it's not photography. It's not painting, drawing or printmaking. It couldn't be done without Photoshop and there's a hell of a lot of it being produced.

For the first time in some time I'm actually excited in anticipation of what's going to happen next in a few of the dramatic series we discuss here. Season finales for both Homeland and Masters of Sex in just a few hours. Last week's episodes of both were quite exciting and set us up for two suspenseful season finales tonight. Rumor on the street is -- this is not a spoiler because I am only repeating some speculation on the web, rumors anyone might have read that are not necessarily true -- is that Brody isn't leaving Iran alive. I've got no idea what's going to happen on Masters of Sex but the promos promise us something shocking. I love being shocked.

When I was a kid growing up in El Paso and we hung out in the bars in Juarez, there used to be guys who came through the bars with car batteries and for like a quarter you could hold onto to metal bars and let him give you a shock. It was a macho thing for the boys to do. You had to be there to understand, I guess, and it helped to be young, stupid and drunk.
