Dear Mario,

We have amicably resolved nearly all disputes with respect to paid membership status. We have involved previous ownership of Silicon Investor in such matters as needed, where individuals asserted that the records we received were incomplete.

The person you cite who sent in a payment record chose this avenue; this doesn't mean it was the only means we offered him.

Shame on you, for assuming things about conversations to which you were not a part, and completely unrelated to your own situation. Those persons are well able to voice up for themselves.

At the risk of creating another stalker, I wish to politely disagree.
Yet, SI still don't grant core members their rights to life timer status who they claim that they paid in the past for it.And if you point this out, your post will be deleted and you will be banned.

I was one of those you mention who remembered having a lifetime membership but didn't have the receipt from the 1990s. It took some time but they eventually found someone they trusted who remembered what I said happened and they restored my lifetime membership. During the whole process they were polite and didn't delete my posts or ban me. Of course, I was as polite as possible too...

Now that I have a scanner, I scan ALL receipts for "lifetime anything" and keep them in a folder backed up in the cloud and on my multiple drives....
