Northern Cable First to Deploy 3Com MCNS Standards-Based Cable Modems 11:01 a.m. Dec 10, 1997 Eastern ANAHEIM, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 10, 1997--Northern Cable Holdings Ltd. of Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, today announced that after extensive hybrid one-way cable modem trials, it has selected 3Com Corp. to provide cable modems to enable its subscribers to have high-speed Internet access.
