Heywood, I'm with you on not using Google Voice. I don't trust Google with anything and do not use anything they make. You can't use respect of privacy and Google in the same sentence. (OK, go ahead Pup) A really unethical company.

So what happens to your number when Line2 goes out of business because they can't compete with Google's free version :).

No, it looks perfect if you don't want the risk of using Google. Personally, I rely on Google for so much anyways, there's no point in me worrying about it. That said, Google Voice works great for me (as does Google Now, but that's a different story).
