I was in Scottsdale, AZ the other day. I saw a bumper sticker on a parked car that read: "I miss Chicago ." So I broke the window, stole the radio, shot out two of the tires, added an Obama bumper sticker and left a note that read, "I hope this helps!"

Thomas Conrad, who had an economics class with the gunman, described him as a very opinionated Socialist. “He was exuberant I guess,” Conrad said. “A lot of people picked on him, but it didn’t seem to bother him.” And, here is the updated article, sans “socialist.” Pierson’s parents divorced in late 2011, according to court records.
