How right you ARE. As the chart I posted showed, he increased the debt more than any other president in our entire history. Yet, conservatives (and apparently YOU) believe he cut government. Go figure..

You've obviously bought may (R) promulgated myths hook, line and sinker.

Sure it was the same thing. In a nutshell, what Raygun did was raise defense spending by 100 billion. That worked as a pass through authority to his rich friends in the military industrial complex; and

cut the taxes on the rich by 100 billion.

And the debt increased from 50 billion (Carters) to 250 billion. See how the numbers add up.

Raygun kept that going for all 8 years and added two trillion to the debt. Bush sr did it for another 4 years and added another trillion.

And it all went to the rich plutocrats now kicking our asses.
