How old are your sons (if it's a polite question)?

Very polite question... Our oldest turned 23 and our youngin' will be 20 in January.

hmmmm...yup, that's right...because they were born in 1975 (my wife was 12 then) and 1978 (that would've made me 13).... ;-)

This getting older (numerically) is a "hoot." I still feel, and all too often act, like I'm somewhere between 18 and 32...AND...I have absolutely no intention of changing.

I don't remember who made the following quote, but it is one of my favorites (it doesn't quite apply to the conversation...but it's related)..
"One can measure the true greatness of the artist not by his ability to paint a picture of an old woman...but...to paint a picture of the young woman who is trapped in the old woman's body" (this is not exact..but you get the drift).

I'm sure you will both make GREAT parents. Usually those people who are not at least a little afraid end up struggling through the process. Personal words of advice...DON'T READ ANY "HOW TO" BOOKS... use logic, love, discipline and forgiveness...and learn to know when and how much.

Still jealous....

T.R.

P.S. BTW...as most parents we are very proud of our sons. Personally I have learned a great deal from each of them. I'm one lucky guy!
