Bonnie and All - another Bear Fund . Franklin/Templeton Hard Curency Fund - ICPHX Followed this thread for a while and have not seen this Fund mentioned Thought it might be of some interst. . The fund basically believes the US $ is toast and not worth owning. The fund buys stronge currencies against the dollar and I believe uses shorts Anyone owning this fund over the last 2 years would have lost a lot of money. It is definately for timers and a falling dollar. Not recomending a purchase - just putting out the info. Anyone familiar with it---would like to here from you. This might fit into some future market conditions. Thanks Chip

Bonnie! I have just created a YAHOO portfolio with all but one of the shorts in BEARX and the shares owned, so I can get running estimates of their short totals any time. Right now the shorts are down (up) almost 3% on the day. Because of other assets in the fund that doesn't mean the whole fund is up 3%, but it does give some interesting info. I cannot post my yahoo password for this without giving access to other stuff.
