As far as inflation in food and rent, unfortunately "food" and "rent" are not publicly traded commodities. So it's harder to get nice price charts for them.

I can get charts for various components of food such as corn, wheat, beef, butter, pork bellies, etc., but food prices depend drastically on things like the weather and so are far more volatile than the above basic metals.

The largest crop in the US is corn. Here's a 5-year chart of its price. No inflation, but like I said, crop prices depend drastically on the weather (not only in the US but worldwide):
