sounds like you have a good plan working for you there...E K S Tahoe is a great area, I love passing through that area on my motorcycle. Post a photo of your place, love to see it. As you noted, WA is still a no income tax state. The issue gets brought up all the time, that an income tax would be more fair and equitable.....perhaps, but the voters just don't want to give the state access to that vein of funds. The trade off is high property & sales taxes.
