Any candidate who publicly writes off "53%" of Americans as "bitter, clinging to their guns and bibles" is never going to win an election except with crooked Soros voting machines.

I suppose, as a Soros puppet, Obama wasn't used to being called on his constant lying.

<<Any candidate that publicly writes off "47%" of Americans as "takers">>

He was correct with his numbers. In fairness I would say part of that had to do with the fact that the economy was in depression mode but his numbers weren't wrong. To make matters worse:
  • I don't think economic conditions have greatly improved nor does it look like a major improvement is on the horizon
  • True unemployment hasn't drastically improved
  • Under employment hasn't improved
  • The debt situation has gotten worse
  • The business climate hasn't improved to the extent that companies are really hiring and making investments in people.
  • Obamacare doesn't look like it's going to improve any of the above problems. In fact - it looks like it's going to make matters worse for people. Companies are cutting back on employee hours, ditching their health plans and the taxpayer is footing the bill.

<<Besides, the guy was a virtual lie spouting machine>>

We could go back and forth on the topic of lies and political distortions but in the final analysis it's not constructive. We need solutions and those don't usually happen when a discussion starts out with "liar, liar pants on fire."

Regardless of what you think, I don't think there's a republican on this thread that wanted Obama to fail. There was and is too much at stake. I'm not going to give anyone a free pass regardless of party. We need solutions and felt like Romney gave us the best chance to improve the economy

But only ONE candidate has been awarded the "Lie of the Year". And that was not Romney.
