"Why did I" ? I made mention of it for the following reason .... As I previously stated, and I believe I stated it very clearly in my post #90076 on "THE OBAMA DISASTER" (T.O.D.) board, I did not want to be associated with those blatantly racist posts that I referred to. I awaited a response from, at the very least, the board's moderator distancing himself and the board from them. Unfortunately the response was, if anything, supportive and encouraging. Had I remained silent it may have been construed that I, too, supported such gutter press, racist comments. So, not only did I speak out on that board, but I also wanted to make my position clear to those who frequent my own board. From what I have come to know of those who frequent "Fundamental Value Investing" I very much doubt that any of them would have wanted to be associated with someone who could, in any way, relate to such disgusting sentiments. With regard to the second part of your post ... It certainly was my intention, at the time, to have my final say and to make my position clear, especially with regard to as to why I originally posted on "T.O.D." Had you and others been prepared to accept what I said, then, then that would have been the end of it and I would not have returned as I originally stated and intended. HOWEVER, you and others continued your misguided and ill informed attacks on me and continued to misrepresent the sentiments that I had expressed in my posts. You seemed determined to portray me as some sort of leftist extremist with vile ulterior motives. I therefore decided to change my mind, which I believe is the prerogative of any free thinking individual, and to let all of you on that board know, finally, where I stood on several matters and to also suggest that you attempt to READ CAREFULLY what I have said, all along, and to not twist it into something of your own making. It seems, from what I have since read, that you and others are determined to continue your misguided attacks and misrepresentations. In addition you come here, to my board, and ask irrelevant and personal questions about my "insecurity" and "purpose", as if that has got anything whatsoever to do with you !! And that is, apart from the fact, that this is a board primarily focused on matters of investment and company analysis and is not a place to make personal attacks on anyone. Now I have only once before banned anyone from this board, and that was precisely because that individual resorted to the same form of baseless and common rhetoric that you have decided to indulge in. As far as I'm concerned you're an insignificant troublemaker. Therefore you can now go elsewhere and say or do whatever you want to say or do, but you certainly are no longer saying or doing it here.
